About these terms

This website is run by WildRoots Property Management, the trading name of 3-101-836967 Sociedad Anónima, a company registered in Costa Rica with cédula jurídica 3-101-836967 and based in Bahía Ballena, Uvita, Osa, Puntarenas. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site; you can always reach us on WhatsApp or at info@wildrootscr.com instead.

An enquiry is not a booking

Sending an enquiry from this site asks us about a home and a set of dates. It does not reserve the home and it does not commit you or us to anything. Nothing is paid on this website.

Where a home offers "Book now", the button takes you to our checkout at book.wildrootscr.com, run by our booking system. A stay booked there is confirmed and paid on that checkout, under the price, payment and cancellation terms it shows you before you confirm.

A stay is booked only when we confirm it to you in writing, with the dates, the total price, how and when it is to be paid, the house rules and the cancellation terms that apply. Those terms, not this page, govern the stay.

Prices and availability

Calendars and prices on this site come from our booking system and from the records we keep for each home. We work to keep them current, but they can change, and another guest may ask for the same dates before we confirm yours. A price or a free date shown here is an indication, not an offer.

Where a total is shown, it is the total our booking system calculated at that moment, including the cleaning fee and taxes it applies. Where a home shows a monthly rent or a price from a certain amount, the exact figure for your dates is the one we confirm in our reply.

Descriptions and photographs

We describe each home and its surroundings as accurately as we can, and the photographs are of the home itself. Homes are lived in and maintained, so furnishings and details may change. If a particular feature matters to your stay, ask us before you book and we will confirm it.

Distances, drive times, weather and wildlife are described in good faith and are approximate. Road conditions on this coast change with the season.

Services provided by others

Tours, transfers, chefs and similar services we mention or help to arrange are provided by independent operators under their own terms. We recommend people we trust, but we do not provide those services ourselves and are not responsible for them.

For homeowners

The pages about property management describe how we work and what we charge in general terms. They are not an offer. Management of a home begins only under a written agreement signed by the owner and WildRoots, and that agreement sets out the services and the fees.

Using the site

Please use the site and its forms honestly: give your own contact details, and do not send spam, attempt to disrupt the site, or collect its content by automated means.

The words, photographs, logo and design on this site belong to WildRoots or to the owners of the homes shown, and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Links to other websites are there for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what is on them.

Our responsibility

We take care to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the site alone, from it being unavailable, or from errors in it. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law does not allow to be limited, or our obligations under a confirmed booking or a signed agreement.

Privacy

How we handle the information you send us is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows when they last changed. The version on this page when you use the site is the one that applies.
